​Trip Itinerary

Your trip starts in Bishkek .

 

Day 1 - Arrival in Bishkek​

​​

  • Arrival & check into your hotel and rest after your flight.

  • Explore Ala-Too Square, the heart of Bishkek.

  • Visit the State History Museum and Oak Park.

  • Stroll through the Osh Bazaar for local souvenirs and snacks.

  • Overnight in Bishkek.

 

Day 2 - Bishkek to Issyk-Kul Lake

 

  • Drive to Issyk-Kul Region (approx. 5 hours).

  • Stop at the Burana Tower (ancient minaret) and the open-air museum of Balasagun.

  • Arrive at Issyk-Kul, the second-largest alpine lake in the world.

  • Relax by the lake and enjoy the scenic views.

  • Overnight nearby Issyk-Kul area.

Day 3 - Issyk-Kul Exploration

 

  • Visit the Rukh Ordo Cultural Center in Cholpon-Ata.

  • Explore the Issyk-Kul Museum to learn about the lake’s history.

  • Take a boat ride or swim in the lake (if weather permits).

  • Visit the Petroglyphs of Cholpon-Ata (ancient rock carvings)

  • Overnight in Cholpon-Ata area.

 

Day 4 - Issyk-Kul to Karakol

  • Drive to Karakol (approx. 2 hours).

  • Visit the Dungan Mosque (unique Chinese-style mosque).

  • Explore the Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral.

  • Take a walk through Karakol’s vibrant local market.

  • Optional: Visit the Przhevalsky Museum dedicated to the famous explorer.

  • Overnight in Karakol.

 

Day 5 - Karakol to Altyn Arashan Valley

  • Take a 4x4 jeep or hike to the Altyn Arashan Valley (known for its hot springs).

  • Relax in the natural hot springs surrounded by stunning mountain views.

  • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the valley.

  • Overnight in Altyn Arashan (basic guesthouse or yurt stay).

Day 6 - Altyn Arashan to Jeti-Oguz Valley

 

  • Return to Karakol and drive to Jeti-Oguz (approx. 2 hours).

  • Visit the Jeti-Oguz Rocks (Seven Bulls) and the Broken Heart Rock.

  • Hike through the scenic valley and enjoy the red sandstone formations.

  • Experience a traditional Kyrgyz yurt stay.

  • Overnight in Jeti-Oguz

Day 7 - Jeti-Oguz to Kochkor

​

  • Drive to Kochkor (approx. 3-4 hours).

  • Stop at the Skazka Canyon (Fairy Tale Canyon) for stunning rock formations.

  • Visit a local family in Kochkor to learn about traditional felt-making and handicrafts.

  • Explore the small town and its local markets.

  • Overnight in Kochkor.

Day 8 - Kochkor to Son-Kul Lake

​

  • Drive to Son-Kul Lake (approx. 3-4 hours).

  • Arrive at Son-Kul, a high-altitude lake surrounded by pastures.

  • Experience nomadic life by staying in a yurt camp.

  • Enjoy horseback riding or hiking around the lake.

  • Overnight in Son-Kul

Day 9 - Son-Kul Lake to Tash Rabat

​

  • Drive to Tash Rabat (approx. 4-5 hours).

  • Visit the Tash Rabat Caravanserai, an ancient stone fortress on the Silk Road.

  • Explore the surrounding valleys and enjoy the remote, peaceful atmosphere.

  • Overnight in Tash Rabat

Day 10 - Tash Rabat to Bishkek

​

  • Drive back to Bishkek (approx. 6-7 hours).

  • Stop at the Kojomkul Museum to learn about Kyrgyz culture.

  • Overnight in Bishkek

Day 11 - Bishkek Exploration

​

  • Visit the Ala-Archa National Park for a short hike and stunning mountain views.

  • Explore more of Bishkek’s attractions, such as the Victory Square and Philharmonic Hall.

  • Shop for souvenirs at Dordoi Bazaar or Osh Bazaar.

  • Arrive in Bishkek and enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

  • Overnight in Bishkek.

  • During big events (international exhibitions, etc.) proposed accommodation may be changed and replaced with a similar category.

  • Hotel booking is subject to availability. No reservations are made before written confirmation and 100% prepayment received from client. 

  • Rooming list to be sent 1 month prior to the arrival date

  • Domestic flights are subject to change in timing and availability. If mentioned flight is not available, it will be changed to convenient one, depending on tour program

  • Please note the above prices are not valid during period of International Exhibitions in Almaty city.

  • The above prices is subject to change in case of revaluation of Kazakh TENGE exchange rate to USD/ EURO

  • You are an adult and you have to take full responsibility for yourself at all times and respect other cultures.

  •  If you are caught doing anything illegal you would be facing the consequences alone, travel to discover will not come into the picture.

  • You have to follow all the instructions told by the trip leader at all times.

  • When you are traveling alone you have to tell the team about your whereabouts.

  • You have to abide by all rules and regulations of another country.

  • You would be traveling with other people, you have to respect everyone's privacy.

  • We have a plan/itinerary for the whole trip but some things might get changed according to the situation please be prepared.(like flight delays etc)

  • No refund in case of cancellation of flights or interconnecting flights/trains.

  • We would be staying in a backpacker hostel all the time and would be sharing the room with other people, you are responsible for your own stuff and yourself

Refund / Cancellation - You can cancel the trip anytime you want - The refund processing time is 15-20 days
