Trip Itinerary

 

Your trip starts from Cairo.

 

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo (Tuesday)

​

• Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by a representative from our company who will assist you through immigration and customs.

• Transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.

Day 2: Wednesday - Pyramids of Giza and Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)

​

• After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour to visit the iconic Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure (Outside Entrance) and explore the Sphinx area.

• Continue to the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) to marvel at its extensive collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts.

• Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 3: Thursday - Memphis and Saqqara

​

• Depart from Cairo to visit the ancient capital of Memphis, where you'll see the colossal statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx.

• Proceed to Saqqara to explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt, and visit the nearby Mastaba of Ti.

• Return to Cairo for overnight stay. 

Day 4: Friday - National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) and Old Cairo

• Visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) to learn about the rich history and culture of Egypt through its diverse exhibitions.

• Explore Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue.

• Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 5: Saturday - Egyptian Museum, Citadel, and Khan el Khalili

​

• Begin your day with a visit to the renowned Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, home to an extensive collection of ancient artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun.

• Continue to the Citadel of Salah al-Din, a medieval Islamic fortification.

• Explore the vibrant Khan el Khalili bazaar, where you can shop for souvenirs and immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere.

• Overnight stay in Cairo. 

Day 6: Sunday -  Day Trip to Alexandria

​

• Depart from Cairo for a full-day excursion to the coastal city of Alexandria.

• Visit the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, the Montazah Palace Gardens, the Citadel of Qaitbay, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (Library of Alexandria), and the Pompey's Pillar

• Return to Cairo for overnight stay. 

Day 7: Monday - Fly to Luxor for Nile Cruise

• Transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Luxor.

• Upon arrival, visit the East Bank of Luxor, including the Karnak Temple Complex and the Luxor Temple

• Transfer to your Nile cruise ship and overnight on board the cruise ship in Luxor. 

 Day 8: Tuesday - West Bank of Luxor

• Explore the West Bank of Luxor, home to the Valley of the Kings, where you can explore several royal tombs.

• Visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon.

• Overnight on board the cruise ship.

Day 9: Wednesday - Kom Ombo and Edfu

​

• Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus.

• Continue to Edfu to explore the well-preserved Temple of Horus, the falcon-headed god.

• Overnight on board the cruise ship

Day 10: Thursday - Aswan

​

• Visit the High Dam, an engineering marvel built to control the annual flooding of the Nile River.

• Explore the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis.

• Optional visit to the Nubian Village to experience the local culture (additional cost).

• Overnight on board the cruise ship in Aswan. 

Day 11: Friday - Free Day in Aswan (Optional Abu Simbel)

​

• Disembark from the cruise ship after breakfast and enjoy a free day to explore Aswan at your leisure.

• Optional excursion to Abu Simbel to visit the magnificent temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari (additional cost).

• Transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo.

• Overnight in Cairo

 Day 12: Saturday - Return to Cairo

​

• Your representative will meet you at your hotel to assist you with your transfer to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable journey.

• You are an adult and you have to take full responsibility for yourself at all times and respect other culture.

•  If you are caught doing anything illegal you would be facing the consequences alone, travel to discover will not come into the picture.

• You have to follow all the instructions told by the trip leader at all times.

• When you are traveling alone you have to tell the team about your whereabouts.

• You have to abide by all the rules and regulations of another country.

• You would be traveling with other people, you have to respect everyone's privacy.

• We have a plan/itinerary for the whole trip but some things might get changed according to the situation please be prepared. (like flight delays etc)

• No refund in case of cancellation of flights of interconnecting flights/trains.

• We would be staying in backpacker hostel all the time and would be sharing the room with other people, you are responsible for your own stuff and yourself​
