Your trip starts in Colombo. You have to reach Colombo 

 

Day 1 : Welcome to Sri Lanka (Suriya Arana)

 

• Ayubowan" - is the local word for hello. You will be greeted by your driver as you start your journey toward Negombo which lies close to the airport.

• Negombo is a traditional fishing town in Sri Lanka and its economy is based on tourism and its centuries-old fishing industry. When walking along the coastal road of Negombo - where most of the hotels are located.

 

Day 2 & Day 3 : Negombo I Habarana (Habarana Village)

 

• Today you will head to Habarana, a small city in the Anuradhapura district of Sri Lanka. From here, you will be able to easily go around the cultural triangle of the country such as Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, and Anuradhapura.

 

• While here, you will go on a day trip to Polonnaruwa as well as enjoy a jeep safari to the Minneriya National Park

 

Day 4 & Day 5: Habarna I Kandy (Le Leopard d’Argent)

 

• Today you will be heading to Kandy. In 1592 Kandy became the capital city of the last remaining independent kingdom in Sri Lanka after the coastal regions had been conquered by the Portuguese.

• When you arrive in Kandy you can explore the city on your own. You can stop at one of the many tea houses and try a delicious cup of tea coupled with a slice of butter cake, a perfect pairing. If you are looking for something a little different look for the restaurant called "Cafe Secret Alley”.

 

Day 6 & Day 7 : Kandy I Ahangama (Samaranaa Ahangama Hotel)

 

• The beaches of Ahangama are definitely not crowded while the Koggala River and Koggala Lake attract many nature lovers. Koggala is a wide-stretched village on Sri Lanka‘s South Coast with beautiful beaches and some of the best surf spots on the island.

• On Day 9 You will go on a day trip to Galle during your stay here

 

Day 8: Ahangama I Colombo (Kingsbury Hotel)

 

• The city is by far the country’s biggest, as well as the most developed. Its natural harbor was a magnet for successive traders and conquerors – initially the Arab merchants, then Portuguese, Dutch, and British imperialists.

• The city center has become a hub for development where you can find a mix of ultra-modern apartment buildings amid more traditional colonial-style houses.

 

Day 9: Time to Say Goodbye

• We have a plan/itinerary for the whole trip but some things might get changed according to the situation please be prepared.(like flight delays etc)

• No refund in case of cancellation of flights or interconnecting flights/trains.

• We would be staying in a backpacker hostel all the time and would be sharing the room with other people, you are responsible for your own stuff and yourself
